II Edu4OneHealth – Tackling antibiotic resistances through a One Health approach, October 22, 2025

On October 22, 2025, the II Edu4OneHealth was held at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD). This event was organized and promoted by Professors Paula Oliveira and Ana Cláudia Coelho from UTAD, Professor Teresa Herdeiro from the University of Aveiro, and Professor Fátima Roque from the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda.

This workshop focused on the current and relevant topic of antimicrobial resistance and how veterinary medicine can play a key role in mitigating this public health problem.

Several professionals linked to the field of veterinary medicine and animal health were present, informing participants of the importance of awareness, education, and collaboration in combating antimicrobial resistance, promoting the prudent and responsible use of these drugs.
