Seminar “The One Health Approach in Action: How Veterinary Medicine Can Help Mitigate Antimicrobial Resistance”, University Institute of Health Sciences, CESPU, Gandra, May 19, 2026

On May 19, 2026, at the University Institute of Health Sciences, of CESPU, researcher Jacinta Pinho presented a seminar within the Edu4OneHealth project (2022.04568.PTDC). Students of the integrated masters in Veterinary Medicine were introduced to some key concepts regarding antimicrobial resistance and «One Health», and it was highlighted the vital role of veterinarians as public health agents in promoting the prudent use of antibiotics in animals.
