“Edu4OneHealth” workshop, held on May 22, 2024, at the Department of Medical Sciences of the University of Aveiro

The “Edu4OneHealth” workshop, held on May 22, 2024, at the Department of Medical Sciences of the University of Aveiro, and promoted by Professor Maria Teresa Herdeiro, highlighted the issue of antimicrobial resistance and how the environment, and human and animal health are interconnected – One Health.

This workshop featured several professionals from the field of Veterinary Health, who informed the participants about the global importance of this public health problem and discussed the strategies to be adopted to encourage the prudent and responsible use of antimicrobials.
